I want to write for a living.
Creative nonfiction, editorials, short fiction – anything. I want to have a career that’s built on reading and writing. I’m in my last semester for my Bachelor’s degree, with a major in English, and a minor in Digital Studies. Since my freshmen year at Rutgers-Camden I have:
- Been a member of the Honors College
- Joined the Camden County Library System’s Diversity and Inclusion Team
- Become a Shop Steward for the Communication Workers of America
- Created a Senior Honors’ Project on Digital Folklore
I have experience working with the public, both in a group setting (volunteering with and reading to groups of people) as well as on an individual level (working with students as a writing tutor).
